Mrs. Audrey Vera Hudson Sessions, a native of Coffeeville, AL and a resident of Grand Bay, AL since early childhood, died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Elmcroft Senior Living Community. She was the wife of the late, Clarence Albert Sessions for some sixty-four years. She is survived by two sons, Al (Elaine) Sessions, Mobile County Treasurer, of Mobile and Lee (Elizabeth) Sessions, Mobile Teacher of Grand Bay, seven grandchildren, Apryl (Shawn) Kyzer of Starkville, MS, Hope (Christopher) Laird of Mobile, Matt Sessions of Mobile, William (Amber) Sessions, Amy Sessions and Ryan Sessions of Grand Bay, Tracy (Scott) Reed of Meridian, MS, six great-grandchildren, Alex Powers, Faith Laird, Christian Laird, Nicholas Sessions, Auburn Sessions and Davis Reed, one brother, Charles Hudson of Weymouth, MA, and many other relatives and friends to cherish her memory. A son, William Walter Barton Sessions, seven brothers and three sisters preceded Mrs. Sessions in death. Mrs. Sessions was an active member of First Baptist Church of Grand Bay for many years. She was also active with the Otha Merriweather Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Grand Bay, for many years before it was inactivated. Pallbearers will be George Jackson, Mickey Sessions, Art Sessions, David Sessions, Brandon Welborn, Eugene Smith, Paul Pigorsch and Carl Pigorsch. Visitation will be held Saturday evening, November 5, 2011 at Serenity Funeral Home, 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd, Theodore, AL from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. Funeral to be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon November 6, 2011 at 3 P.M. from the chapel. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until service time Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
